The first care packages were sent on April 18, 2008. We had 14 Iraqi kids on our list. Yesterday, my cousins, Christian and Cayla, and I prepared 130 packages to go out this week. While the last year has been a little tough due to the economy, we are thrilled to have found new ways to raise money, cut expenses and continue to send packages to the List Kids. Thank you to everyone who has supported The List Kids. We could not have done it without you. I personally want to thank Christian and Cayla, who are the heart and soul of the team. I could not do this without them. Additionally, special thanks go out to Kirk Johnson, Zeba Khan and Ann McKittrick — none of this would be possible without them. And then there is Mateo, who never gives up and works so hard for the List Kids chapter on Netroots. Thank you all.
