As the snow begins to fall across many places in this country, I decided that it would be best to collect hats, mittens and scarves this month to put in the List Kids care packages. My mom, always looking for a way to help, tried her hand at knitting a hat for a baby. Posted above his her first attempt (don’t look too closely–LOL:). So while this one may end up on one of my cousin’s dolls, she was undeterred and started another one. I am not sure what possessed my mom to think she could knit— but you have to love her spirit! I am sure there are a lot of people out there who can knit (and do it well:).
  • If you are one of those talented people, please consider making hats and scarves for The List Kids.
  • If you are friends with a talented knitter, consider asking for a hat and scarf as your holiday present and then donate it to The List Kids; or
  • If you are like the rest of us who can’t fathom knitting, please remember The List Kids when you are shopping! If you can slip that extra hat, mitten or scarf into your cart, please do so.

The List Kids’ address is: 1641 N. Hiatus Road, #107, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026.

To make this a little more interesting, we will be featuring our different hats on the blog, and anyone who donates 5 or more hats/scarves or mittens will receive a List Kids’ book bag, reminder bracelet, and certificate from The List Kids.
Thanks for helping,
Sky Choi and The List Kids
