Iraq is unraveling. Cities and towns are falling to the da’ash – the Islamic State of Iraq the Levant – almost daily, uprooting more than a million Iraqis. The List Project has received scores of new requests for help from Iraqis seeking to flee the country. The Embassy in Baghdad has evacuated its refugee program staff, meaning that the process – already glacial in its pace – is now frozen.
