More news of note from the past few days relating to Iraq and the refugee crisis:

Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki tells Iyad Allawi he is no longer welcome in Iraqi politics (عربي).

U.S. prepares to leave its largest base in Iraq, Camp Victory.  Iraqis who work for the U.S. fear they will be left behind as well.

More than forty Iraqis have been killed in security incidents carried out by militants since Monday.  This includes an attack on Shia pilgrims from Karbala who were stopped at a fake checkpoint outside of Ramadi. Women and children were forced off the bus, while the men were driven away and executed.
