We cannot do this work without support.  The List Project does not receive federal funding, and has carried out its work in an incredibly lean and leveraged fashion.  We do not waste money on elaborate offices; most of our employees share space at one of our partnering law firms.  For every dollar that we spend on our legal services program, each firm commits an equivalent value of over twenty dollars in providing groundbreaking pro bono services to the thousands of Iraqis on our List.

Your contribution will help us cover the expenses of the staffers needed to build the List, work with Iraqis in the region, and coordinate an immense caseload with nearly 200 attorneys.  It will also help us conduct our advocacy, which is focused on ensuring that we do not abandon our Iraqi allies as America withdraws from Iraq. Despite the perception that Iraq has been pacified, we still receive new pleas for help on a daily basis from U.S.-affiliated Iraqis.

2012 UPDATE: An anonymous donor has generously offered to match all donations to the List Project, up to $100,000. This will help us operate in this final phase of the issue, in which we fight for the thousands of Iraqi allies who were left behind as we withdrew. Please help us meet this goal with your support!!
